Challenges

My love and patience for my fellow man , has been challenged this weekend । I am speaking of the Police killings in Oakland , Ca। on Sat. afternoon . I live close and often work there . I am so angry by the recent events . I am taught to live and let live . To forgive my fellow man . To love him , but as the fibers of society are stretched to the breaking point . When my own family comes into danger how much love am I to show . I do not feel sorry for the evil elements that flood our citys . We become the oppresed . I am a good Christian , or strive to be . I will fight for my family , my home , my beliefs . I will not fall under the foot of the evil scum that are marching through our cities . We must stand up , we must shout out . Support our Police . I remember in the 60's when I was growing up seeing billboards that showed a Cop holding a little boy , limp in his arms as he gave mouth to mouth . The caption was " Some call him Pig " . That made such a impression in my life . They serve us , and protect us . They are our soldiers at home . Bless them all . When they fall it's up to us to help them .
